Asylum by Drew Geraci (Timelapse)

Drew Geraci’s video titled “Asylum”, is an excellent timelapse video of an abandoned Insane Asylum. This video was shot over the course of 7 months, with over 35,000 individual shots composed into an HDR movie. The final product was 3 minutes and 6 seconds of pure awesomeness.

Drew commented on his journey:

“Our 7 month journey into the Asylum led us on many adventures; from dodging security vehicles, ghostly figures and even a meth head. This is no place for the faint of heart. Asbestos blanketed every room we entered like new winter snow, so shooting was sometimes difficult.”

Excellent video and patience by Drew Geraci to capture this.
