Camera: Sigma Sigma SD15 (Amazon)
Focal Length: 23mm
Shutter Speed: 1.3 sec
Aperture: f/8
ISO/Film: 50
Tripod: Yes

Note: Junya Hasegawa captured this photo in a cave underneath a waterfall. The waterfall has some excellent lighting if you notice some of the shadowing and highlights throughout. The dark cave lets the forest really shine. Excellent capture!

Tip: When shooting waterfalls, it’s great to have a tripod to get the “smooth” flowing effect. To do this technique, slow your shutter speed down to a 1/2 second to a few seconds. Play with different speeds to achieve your desired effect. Remember to have a tripod on hand when you slow down your shutter to those speeds to avoid any blurriness with your movement.
