Exposure: 1/500 sec
Note: Col Cartwright took this 5 exposure HDR (High Dynamic Range) photo of a friends farmhouse during the wintertime. An HDR photo allows for a greater range between the lightest and the darkest areas of a photograph. Col took 5 different shots and combined them in a post processing software called Photomatix. Very nice work!
Tip: When taking HDR photo’s, it’s not necessary to have a tripod, but it’s always helpful. Try and keep the same direction when shooting to combine your images. A great software to combine your images is Photomatix, but you can also do this in photoshop as well. Take a look at PhotoshopCafe.com’s tutorial on HDR Photography.
