Note: Paul Stokes took this image in Gower, Wales at the perfect time of the day. The tree covering up the sun adds unique lighting and beauty to the photo. It also gives the tree a nice silhouette. The haze and mist from the clouds gives off a sense of serenity and calmness throughout the photo.

Tip: By placing the tree on the right side of the composition adds interest. The common technique is referred to as “the rule of thirds“.
