Shutter Speed: 1/125 sec
Aperture: f/9
ISO/Film: 500
Note: Marina Cano captured a group of Ankoles (wiki) in the rain in Cabarceno Natural Park, Cantabria, Spain. This park is largest wildlife park in Europe and is the home for a hundred animal species from five continents in semi-freedom living quarters. The huge horns on the black background add excellent contrast with beautiful natural lighting.
Tip: When shooting nature and wildlife, it’s a good rule of thumb to use a high focal length to get up close and personal with your subjects, without putting yourself in any danger. Use a higher shutter speed to avoid in unintentional blurriness because your movements are a little “larger” or increased due to the high focal length.
