Mythical place

Date: 2011

Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark II
Focal Length: 24mm
Aperature: f/20
ISO: 100
Exposure: 10 sec

Note: Jorge Maia’s photo gives off a “mythical” mood from the lighting and the fog coming through the trees. With the heavy amount of moss on the right side of the rocks and the tree’s slight lean to the left, looks like a storm of moss came in from the right side of the frame. Very unique and interesting shot!

Tip: With a higher aperature (f-stop), the background is in fine detail and focus. When increasing the aperature, you must lower your exposure setting, for instance 10 seconds in this photo. It will allow enough light in to fill the composition and keep your photo’s background crisp and in focus.
