Lost Halls

Location: Papermill near Bad Berka, Germany
Date: March 2011

Camera: Fuji S5 Pro, Tokina 12-24mm Lens, Nodal Ninja 3 (Tripod Head)
Focal Length: 12mm
Aperature: f/8
ISO: 100
Exposure: 2 sec

Note: Andreas Kampf shot this beautiful picture in an abandoned papermill factory in Bad Berka, Germany. Choosing a lower exposure (shutter), allowed for enough light to come into the camera and fill the dark and abandoned room. Andreas has chosen a very interesting and engaging angle for the audience. This reminds of the movie “Saw” and “Hostel”. Dark, eerie and beautiful at the same time. Very nice work!

Tip: Look out for old or abandoned places to take photographs. Shoot more than one image to stitch a panorama in order to achieve a great perspective or field of view.

  1. I really love the theme on your site, I run an Online site , and I would likely genuinely love to utilize this theme. Is it a 100 % free layout, or is it personalized?
