Note: Peyton Hale captured this Elk in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina. The Elk is seeking out a harem, or a group of cows and calves. Morning fog adds beautiful lighting and mood to the scene. Nice capture.

Tip: When using zoom lenses, try to increase your film speed (wiki) because vibration and unintentional movement can be seen easier.  Morning fog can add a great deal of interest to your photo, so check local forecasts and plan your shot based around this information if you intend to capture morning mist and fog.
