Note: Leonardo Fava took this picture at the perfect time of a Cormorant flinging an eel through the air. Trained Cormorant’s are used by fisherman to retrieve fish, but recently are used more for tourism attractions. I love the background of the shoreline meeting the water. It adds contrast lets you focus on the action that is happening in the scene. Beautiful composition and capture.

Tip: When capturing nature, it’s highly recommended that you have a 200mm lens or higher, to get close up shots of the action. Use burst mode to capture multiple shots in a sequence instead of trying to wait for that perfect moment. You don’t want to miss that “perfect” moment in a scene.
