Note: Steve Skinner took this photo at an air show in San Diego, California. It’s incredibly hard to capture an F-18 flying at 600mph, but to capture it breaking the sound barrier is truly incredible. Everything is so smooth towards the front of the jet, but the backside of the jet is a bit choatic. This just shows you the raw speed and explosiveness of the fighter jet. Great Capture!

Tip: When shooting objects that are in motion, it’s good to shoot with the burst mode option. This will let you get all the moments in between what you are capturing, usually producing an unexpected, but great result!
