Camera: Canon EOS 5d Mark II (Amazon)
Focal Length: 600mm
Shutter Speed: 1/800 sec
Aperture: f/6.3
ISO/Film: 320

Note:Mario Moreno captured the interaction between two elephants (Loxodonta Africana) at Hapoor Dam in Addo Elephant National Park, South Africa. The Addo Elephant National Park is one of 19 national parks in South Africa that currently houses more than 450 elephants and a large number of other mammals. This was a great moment to capture to Elephants in a friendly manner. Excellent picture!

Tip: When shooting nature and wildlife, you will need a zoom lens typical of 200mm and above in focal length. Mario shot this at a focal length of 600mm which allowed him to be far away from the elephants, but up close and personal. When shooting with zoom lenses, a faster shutter speed is better because very small movements can become larger movements due to the higher focal length.
